Strolling through the Streets of Dair Al Qamar

1

Finally a change of scenery on the blog. As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I was visiting the old town of Dair L Qamar in Shouf ,which is an amazing place to stroll around in a good weather and just enjoy the views. The most remarkable thing about this place is that all the inner roads between the houses are very narrow and made of stairs where no cars can pass by. So, you spend your day wandering around, and admiring the beauty and the history of our ancestors.

If you are from Lebanon and you have never visited the place, you really should, since it is one of a kind place. :D

Since the weather on the weekend got a little colder, the Grey Coat came out to play, and I really missed wearing  it. With the colder weather, more layering is a must, and my favorite thing is to layer a checkered shirt with a basic sweater on top.

The leather pleated skirt adds more playfulness to the otherwise very structured outfit. I played a little bit with my makeup and tried a bunch of different products, so if you liked the look I would be happy to do a tutorial. Let me know in the comments if you would be interested in that.

  1. 1. I love Dair Al Qamar, one of the prettiest places in Lebanon, beautiful choice of location.
    2. We do have the same gray coat i may say :P, it ads a nice masculine feel.
    3. That make up is simply gorgeous.
I guess it’s my favorite look, styling, beauty, place & mood,… everything is perfect!
